About us

Digital Media Integrations Was Built Different From the Start

Founded in 2010 by Dustin Milne, DMI was built on a simple idea: care about the people, care about the work, and never lose the passion behind it. Years of hands-on experience in the AV industry quickly snowballed into a trusted name known for seamless execution, honest communication, and long-term client relationships built on real collaboration.

We’ve never wanted to be the kind of company where clients feel passed around or lost in the process. Instead, we’ve built a close-knit team that collaborates, stays involved from start to finish, and genuinely cares about creating a smooth, successful and memorable experience for every client we work with.

Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of supporting corporate productions, hospitality spaces, fundraisers, memorial events, music events, schools, churches, and emergency service functions all throughout Alberta. No matter the size or scope, we approach every project with the same mindset: do great work and create experiences people will never forget.

Dustin Milne

The AV mastermind you’ll definitely want on your side, Dustin Milne, has been immersed in the professional AV industry since 2004, building experience through live productions, innovative installations, and some truly unforgettable events along the way.

Starting his career at Allstar Show Industries, he quickly fell in love not just with the technical side of AV but with the energy, creativity, and problem-solving involved in transforming an event space, connecting with communities, and bringing memorable moments to life.

In 2010, Dustin founded DMI with the goal of creating solutions that felt different from the typical AV experience – more personal, more collaborative, and built around quality over quantity. He believes the best productions and installations come from people who genuinely care about the details, love what they do, and get maybe a little too excited about perfectly tuned sound systems.

Our team

Aaman Merali

Aaman brings over a decade of experience across theatre, film, and live production, with a career that started on stage crew before quickly evolving into specialized audio design and production leadership roles. He’s worked as a sound designer and Head of Audio on a wide range of productions, building a stellar reputation for technical precision, creative problem-solving, and for somehow staying impressively cool under pressure.

While sound is his main specialty, Aaman is also highly experienced in lighting, video broadcasting, and production management. One of his most notable roles was serving as Technical Director for the world premiere of “STRUCK” presented by Ghost River Theatre Company.

Whether he’s behind a console, coordinating technical details, or handling the inevitable last-minute curveballs of live production, Aaman brings fine-tuned vision and execution that helps every event and production feel polished, seamless, and show-ready – every time.
